The Department of Pathology at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking an academically oriented, board-certified pathologist with specialized competence in pediatric pathology and ideally a secondary interest in bone and soft tissue pathology or other anatomic pathology subspecialty. Appointment and salary will depend upon level of expertise and accomplishments. The successful candidate will participate in the service responsibilities of a large and diversified diagnostic practice inclusive of perinatal pathology; contribute to medical student, resident, and fellow teaching; and develop an academic program reflective of their interests.

The Department serves Yale New Haven Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital, major teaching and referral centers in southern Connecticut, and a robust outreach program providing consultative services to regional practitioners and beyond.

Pediatric Pathology Position

The Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. board-certified or board-eligible pediatric pathologist for its Division of Anatomic Pathology. Academic appointment will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine.

TCH is the nation's largest children's hospital and is ranked No. 1 in both pediatric cardiology and heart surgery and pediatric pulmonary medicine by U.S News and World Report. The recent opening of the Lester and Sue Smith Legacy Tower adds 640,000-square-feet to the TCH Medical Center Campus dedicated to pediatric critical medical and surgical care. The Pavilion for Women supports high risk obstetrics with 6,000 annual deliveries and gynecologic services for adult women.

The expansion in the size and scope of a pre-eminent medical center for women and children necessitates additional support in pediatric and perinatal surgical and autopsy pathology. Annual surgical case volume exceeds 20,000 specimens with approximately 150 autopsies. The daily practice is facilitated by subspecialty gynecologic pathology, neuropathology and hematopathology services, as well as a robust genomic medicine reference lab.

Anatomical or General Pathologist, with Sub-specialization
Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta

EDMONTON, ALBERTA (CANADA). Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) North Sector, in partnership with the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking a qualified full time Anatomical / General Pathologist with sub-specialty expertise.

This position will join the team of pathologist at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, and may consist of involvement and interaction with different APL laboratory sites within the city of Edmonton. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, with its team of 96 pathologists and many consultants, functions as a center of Excellence. The successful applicant will be involved in the diagnostic activity across the City of Edmonton (North Sector, APL), and is expected to become an active consultant in their area(s) of sub-specialty expertise, participate or help coordinate the North Sector special interest group (SIG) activities, and interact with the clinical stakeholders in their area(s). In addition to a sub-specialty practice, participation in general surgical pathology practice is required. Our current sub-specialty priority areas for recruitment are: lung pathology and perinatal/pediatric pathology.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a MD, eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta with certification in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology or General Pathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the American Board of Pathology. Subspecialty Fellowship training in the disciplines indicated and/or relevant Molecular Pathology training and experience is required. Physicians must also have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.

Compensation
Options to function as either a contractor or an employee exist. Remuneration range for a Pathologist in Alberta is $353,874.00 to $411,650.00.

Northeast Oklahoma Cytopathologist and/or Dermatopathologist

TULSA, OKLAHOMA (USA). Pathology Laboratory Associates (PLA), a large physician-owned pathology group based in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a well-trained BC/BE cytopathologist and/or dermatopathologist with good communication skills and excellent general surgical pathology skills for a full-time partnership track position. 3-5 years of experience is preferred but not required. Academic Gastrointestinal Pathologist

Academic Hematopathologist

BOSTON, MASSACHUSSETS (USA). The Department of Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a principal teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is seeking an academically oriented, board-certified pathologist with established diagnostics skills in hematopathology and an interest in clinical-translational research. Pediatric Hematopathologist

PHEONIX, ARIZONA (USA). Phoenix Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hematopathologist to join the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The pediatric hematopathologist must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematopathology. The case mix currently includes approximately 750 peripheral blood smears, 550 bone marrow studies, 100 lymph node evaluations, and 400 flow cytometric immunophenotyping studies annually.

The ideal candidate must have well-rounded experience in pediatric hematopathology and cytopathology. Additional expertise is desirable in coagulation interpretation, hemoglobin electrophoresis, primary immune deficiency evaluation, and/or NGS-based minimal residual disease test development, in order to align with our strategic growth opportunities. Although not required, candidates with dual board certification are encouraged to apply and would have opportunity to continue practice in their desired field.
