Yellowstone Pathologists, P.C. (YP) seeks an experienced full time general pathologist to join our growing practice
in Billings, Montana. Candidates must be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) with
additional subspecialty training and board certification in Dermatopathology. Preference will be given to
candidates with three or more years of experience, though recently trained pathologists are encouraged to apply.
We seek to fill this position immediately.
YP currently consists of seven general pathologists that serve hospitals and clinics throughout Montana, Wyoming,
and Idaho and our staff has subspecialty training and expertise in dermatopathology, gastrointestinal/liver
pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, and molecular pathology. Cases vary in composition and complexity
and responsibilities include sign out of general surgical pathology, bone marrow biopsies, gynecologic/non-
gynecologic cytology, flow cytometry, serum protein and immunofixation electrophoresis, FISH, and molecular
assays. For this position, the daily case load would encompass approximately 60% general pathology/40%
dermatopathology. The successful applicant must possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to practice
independently, the willingness to serve as a regional dermatopathology consultant for both pathologists and
clinicians, and the capability of providing direction for anatomic pathology and clinical laboratories. This is a
