Yellowstone Pathologists, P.C. (YP) seeks a full time general pathologist to join our growing practice in
Billings, Montana. Candidates must be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Subspecialty
training/board certification in Hematopathology or Surgical Pathology is particularly desirable; however,
interested applicants with training in other subspecialties are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given
to candidates with 5+ years of experience, though recently trained applicants will be considered. We
seek to fill this position by June 2019.
YP currently consists of seven general pathologists that serve hospitals and clinics throughout Montana,
northern Wyoming, and eastern Idaho and our staff has subspecialty training and expertise in
dermatopathology, gastrointestinal/liver pathology, cytopathology, hematopathology, and molecular
pathology. Cases vary in composition and complexity and responsibilities include sign out of general
surgical pathology, gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology, flow cytometry, serum protein and
immunofixation electrophoresis, FISH, and molecular assays. The successful applicant must possess
exceptional communication skills, the ability to practice independently, the willingness to serve as a
regional dermatopathology consultant for both pathologists and clinicians, and the capability of
providing direction for anatomic pathology and clinical laboratories. This is a partnership-track position
