Greensboro Pathology Associates (GPA), an Aurora Diagnostics Partner, is seeking to add a Gastrointestinal/Hepatobiliary Pathologist to its team of seven full time surgical pathologists. Expertise in gastrointestinal pathology is required, and fellowship training is preferred. The chosen candidate will be responsible for presenting at weekly GI tumor boards, attending evening GI working group committees, and play a vital role in the development of GI pathology for GPA and our affiliated healthcare system, Cone Health.
In addition to these duties, the candidate will be responsible for other fields of surgical pathology, frozen sections, calls, and some autopsies. GPA surgical pathology processes approximately 50,000 surgical specimens a year and is the lone pathology for Cone Health, a 1200 bed health system located in central North Carolina. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Brody School of Medicine is
seeking an AP or AP/CP board certified surgical pathologist for a fixed term position at the title
of Clinical Associate Professor. Experience or fellowship training in surgical pathology, surgical
pathology subspecialty, or molecular pathology. Approximately 19,908 surgical and 6,981
cytology cases including 1,333 fine needle aspirates are accessioned into the department
annually.
The candidate will be expected to participate in surgical pathology service responsibilities and in
medical student/resident/fellow education and clinical research. Training and experience in
grossing/gross supervision, and intraoperative diagnosis/frozen section. The applicant must
qualify for a faculty appointment at East Carolina University. Academic title and salary will be

Surgical Pathologist
WINSTON-SALEM, NORTH CAROLINA (USA).
The Department of Pathology at Wake Forest Baptist Health is seeking qualified
candidates to join our Surgical Pathology Faculty. Position requirements include
successful completion of an ACGME residency program in either AP or AP/CP with
additional fellowship level training in surgical pathology (general or subspecialty) and
the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical licensure in North Carolina. Rank will be
determined based on experience. A leadership position is available for qualified
individuals. Subspecialty interest in GYN, Endocrine, Lung, or Bone/Soft tissue would
be especially desirable.
Wake Forest Baptist Health is located in Winston-Salem, NC, a region attractive for its
