MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, science or a related field.

• Five (5) - Eight (8) years' experience in sales, marketing, and/or product development in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics or related industry; non-industry experience may be substituted on a 2:1 basis.
• Experience with Product positioning and branding.
• Demonstrated experience translating science into marketing messages.
• Experience managing multiple product launches.
• Experience managing branding, medical education and PR/Communication agencies.

Anatomic Pathology Technologist

The Women's Care Florida Laboratory is expanding its scope of practice from a "read only" lab to include Molecular Microbiology, Histology including Immunohistochemistry and Cytology. We are seeking an experienced Anatomic Pathology Technologist to support this transition.

Our new custom built lab is located at the Central Business Office in the heart of the Westshore district in Tampa, Florida.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works in all areas of the laboratory with a willingness to learn new tests and procedures as needed.
• Ensures quality control and compliance procedures are followed and QC reports are up to date.
• Resolves problems through interaction with clients via phone calls or other means of communication.
• Ensures safety regulatory standards and safety procedures are followed.

This is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities, but rather a general description of the work performed by this position.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in medical technology, chemical or biological science and minimum of 2+ years of laboratory experience in histology, cytology, and/or molecular pathology. Current Board of Registry (ASCP) certification as a Medical Technologist or Laboratory Scientist is required. Molecular Biology (MB) Certification by ASCP is not required, but would be highly desirable.

Pathology Assistant

Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic has an immediate full-time position for a certified pathologists' assistant for their regional laboratory which includes Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. The specimens come from our two ambulatory surgery centers and 30 patient centers. A large portion of the work is comprised of small biopsies, skins, GIs, and Gyn cases. We also receive breast resections, lymphoma work-ups, and some other larger specimens. The supervisor is also available to assist with a heavier work flow.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the pathologist with dissecting and describing all surgical pathology specimens or histologic processing and coordinating case distribution for histologic processing in the gross dissection lab.

Qualifications include:
• Two years of previous work experience in a pathology assistant capacity
• A bachelorís degree
• Certified as a Pathologist Assistant from a national accredited body (i.e. American Society for Clinical Pathologists) or be an M.D. with a background in anatomic pathology

Cytotechnologist

RENO, NEVADA (USA). The Department of Pathology at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine in Reno is expanding its sub-specialty diagnostic services in Cytology. We seek a Cytotechnologist with training at a Range 3 or a Senior Cytotechnologist at a Range 4 level (supervisory level). The cytotechnologist is responsible for management of the Cytology Health program for screening women of Nevada for infectious and communicable diseases as well as cervical dysplasia of the uterine cervix (GYN) and non GYN cytology (Pap smears, brushings, washings and fine needle aspirates). The position implements and manages the quality assurance program for procedural and technical operations, ensuring alignment with federal and state regulations. The Cytotechnologist communicates screening results to supervising pathologists and/or health professionals and provides technical and diagnostic consultations. This position is a cytology certified professional and reports to the Chair, Pathology Department and Laboratory Medicine.

Requirements:

RANGE 3:
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution with emphasis or major in sciences and four years, or Master's and two years, of experience in a clinical laboratory setting to include performing laboratory testing and productivity monitoring and one year of cytology technology training. State of Nevada licensure as a Licensed Cytotechnologist or ability to obtain one within specified time period is also required.

RANGE 4:
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution with emphasis or major in sciences and five years, or Master's and three years, of experience in a clinical laboratory setting to include performing laboratory testing and productivity monitoring, lab staff supervision, and cytology technology training from an Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAHEA) accredited school. State of Nevada licensure as a Licensed Cytotechnologist or ability to obtain one within specified time period is also required plus certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) (for Cytology Supervisors).

Pathologists' Assistant
Baylor College of Medicine

HOUSTON, TEXAS (USA). The Department of Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Pathologists' Assistant for its Division of Anatomic Pathology. Located in the nation's fourth largest city, TCH is the nation's largest children's hospital. It is currently undergoing rapid expansion with the recent addition of the Pavilion for Women, a new facility accommodating programs in high-risk obstetrics and gynecology, fetal medicine, and fetal surgery.

We are seeking a third Pathologists' Assistant to join the Department of Pathology in its clinical, academic, and research missions at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH), Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women, and Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. The combined campuses annually examine approximately 20,000 specimens from pediatric and gynecologic surgeries and obstetric deliveries with approximately 150 autopsies. Expected duties include gross description and dissection of surgical and placental specimens with selection of tissues for histopathologic examination and ancillary studies. Skilled gross photography and performance of special techniques, such as frozen section and X-ray imaging are strongly desired. Post-mortem examinations span all developmental stages (fetal to adulthood) and detailed external and internal examination and dissection skills are required. As a member of our academic mission, the successful candidate will actively supervise residents and fellows in surgical grossing and post-mortem examinations. This person will report to the Director of the Anatomic Pathology Division.

Interested individuals must possess a Bachelor's degree from an approved Pathologists' Assistant program and certification as a Pathologists' Assistant by the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants or American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Six months of directly related experience is ideal.
