  • Rare; may attach to filum terminale or caudal nerve roots
  • Age 30's to 60's

Gross description
  • Usually intradural, extramedullary and encapsulated
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • May have neuronal or ganglionic differentiation similar to ganglionic paraganglioma or composite paraganglioma
Positive stains
Differential diagnosis
