Definition / general
  • Mean age 49 years, range 34 to 78 years
  • Presents with abnormal Pap smears or vaginal bleeding
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Cysts occupy 50 - 90% of tumor, 1 - 8 mm in diameter
  • Lined by flat to low cuboidal to pseudostratified epithelium
  • Luminal mucin is common, resembles contents of mesonephric tubules
  • Variable desmoplastic stroma
