- Uncommon inflammatory condition confined to rectum
- Rectal bleeding and discontinuous endoscopic mucosal changes confined to rectum

Microscopic (histologic) description
- Dense lymphoid infiltrate and follicular hyperplasia of mucosa with congestion; no ulceration; no neutrophils
