● Rare in colon; more common in cervix
● Considered a poorly differentiated adenosquamous carcinoma

Micro description

● Moderate ground glass or finely granular cytoplasm
● Cell wall is PAS+ and distinct
● Enlarged nuclei with prominent nucleoli

● Focal hCG producing adenocarcinoma: (more common)
