Gross description
  • Diffuse lipomatous infiltration of epicardial surfaces with focal infiltration into myocardium
  • No discrete masses
  • Marked increase in fat in atrioventricular sulci and over ventricles
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Mature fat that may infiltrate into myocardium
