● Common in urban dwellers on parietal pleura, usually near diaphragm (Am J Surg Pathol 2002;26:1198)
● May be related to structures responsible for lymphatic drainage of pleural cavity
● Does not appear to be clinically significant; no relationship to mesothelioma and asbestosis
