Definition / general
  • Neuroblastomas, ganglioneuromas and ganglioneuroblastoma are together classified as neuroblastic tumors (Radiographics 2002;22:911)
  • Excision is usually adequate treatment for ganglioneuroblastoma

  • Usually < 1 year old

  • Intermediate degree of differentiation between neuroblastoma and ganglioneuroma, comparable to a differentiating neuroblastoma or immature ganglioneuroma
