  • Form of heterotopic splenic hamartoma consisting of red pulp tissue without associated white pulp, in otherwise normal ovary

  • Interanastomosing vascular channels of splenic, sinusoidal red pulp
  • Sinuses are lined by cuboidal to flattened cells with ovoid and grooved, bland looking nuclei
