● Less often ankle and foot

● Causing quadriceps tendon rupture (Cir Cir 2008;76:259)
Gross description

● Focal lipomatous mass resembling lipoma

● Resembles lipoma, but adherent to tendon or intersecting its fibers

● Lipoma arborescens: usually not a discrete mass, affects knee, not hands/wrist
