● Slightly elevated plaque with umbilication of overlying mucosa
Micro description
=========================================================================
● Submucosal histiocytes with cytoplasmic inclusions (Michaelis-Gutmann bodies) that are positive for calcium with von Kossa stain
Electron microscopy description
=========================================================================
● Inclusions have dense central calcified body and concentric alternating rings
