Definition / general
  • Müllerian papilloma: aka mesonephric papilloma, intramural papilloma but actually Müllerian origin
    • Rare, benign, polypoid lesion of cervix or vagina of young girls to adult women
  • Squamous papilloma: more common in cervix; HPV related
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Superficially located, composed of delicate stalks covered by cuboidal cells
  • No atypia, minimal mitotic activity
