  • Mean age 68 years (range 50 to 84 years); usually no hormonal therapy; incidental microscopic finding
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Hyperplastic epithelium lacking maturation, composed of spindled nuclei with longitudinal nuclear grooves, perinuclear halos, low N/C ratios, rare / no mitotic figures
  • Usually no atypia
