Part-time Pathologist

Cytopathology, Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Laboratory services are provided to 2 hospitals in Northwestern and Southwestern Arizona and several large physician clinics. AP/CP Full-Time or Part-Time Pathologist
ROCKLEDGE / MELBOURNE, FLORIDA (USA).
Private group in Rockledge/Melbourne, FL looking for a 4th Board Certified or Board Eligible AP/CP Full-Time or Part-Time Pathologist who holds or is eligible for an unrestricted licensure in the State of Florida to replace a retired Pathologist, starting date February 1, 2021 or March 1, 2021.
Strong general surgical pathology skills are required to cover ~6,000 to 8,000 Surgicals, Non-Gyn Cytology~1000, Bone Marrows~80 to 100, Pap Smears~600 to 700, Clinical Path reviews~500. Clinical Path call consists of mainly calls from Blood Bank. Group covers two community hospitals and a reference laboratory. Pathologists perform Medical Review Officer Duties for Toxicology located at the reference laboratory. Salary is negotiable.
Benefits include malpractice insurance, medical staff dues at both hospitals, reimbursement for Florida medical license and Florida NICA fees, reimbursement of CME expenses up to a limit, partial (1/2) payment of medical and dental health insurance, 30 days vacation includes CME and 15 sick days. No DEA needed. There is a full-time Pathologists’ Assistant to gross specimens at one of the community hospitals and the Pathologists gross the specimens at the other community hospital. Pathologists cut the frozens at both community hospitals. Cytotechnologist screens Pap smears only. Pathologists screen Non-Gyn Cytology. Pathologists sit on various hospital committees and perform CAP inspections as needed. No autopsy duties.
Prefer at least 2-5 years experience, however, will consider a new graduate with the proper post-residency pathology fellowship experience such as a Surgical pathology fellowship.

AP/CP Part-Time Pathologist

A hospital based group is recruiting for a AP/CP board certified or board eligible pathologist for a position to cover approximately 26 weeks per year. The position is ideal for someone who wants to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of weeks on/ weeks off scheduling. The practice supports a busy community hospital in the Atlanta Metropolitan area with approximately 9000 surgical accessions and 1000 non-gyn cytology cases.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong anatomic pathology skills (including non-gyn cytology, bone marrows and lymph nodes) as well as experience in general clinical pathology (peripheral blood smears, transfusion reactions, etc.). Opening for AP/CP Boarded Cytopathologist
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI (USA).
A busy, well-established, hospital-based, private practice group is seeking a board
certified (or eligible) cytopathologist for part-time or full-time employment. The group is a physician
owned and managed team of seven full-time AP/CP boarded pathologists, several with subspecialty
boards in cytopathology and/or hematopathology, one CP and Transfusion Medicine boarded
pathologist, and two exceptional Pathologist’s Assistants. The group serves not only a Top Ranked, 400
bed acute care hospital in a desirable suburb of West St. Louis County, MO but also serves three smaller
hospitals in the community. The centralized hospital laboratory processes approximately 28,000
surgical specimens, 400 bone marrow specimens, 600 flow cytometry specimens, 3,300 non-gyn
cytology specimens, and 18,000 Pap smears annually.
Applicants must have fellowship training and board certification or eligibility in cytopathology, board
certification in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, and licensure or eligibility in the state of

ability to work independently are also necessary. Experience in hematopathology is highly desirable but

Lymphoma Pathologist at BC Cancer (locum position – part-time)
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (CANADA).
BC Cancer provides a comprehensive cancer control program under the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) for the people of British Columbia. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a lymphoma pathologist with expertise in diagnostic lymphoma pathology and related translational/basic research. This is a locum position for a two-year duration at 0.3 full-time equivalent (FTE) level. Priority will be given to applicants with specific post-certification lymphoma pathology fellowship training and experience at a major academic cancer centre in the area of lymphoma pathology. The applicant should have a demonstrable recent track record in research involving lymphoid cancers with a desire to collaborate with other researchers in the Centre for Lymphoid Cancer. Collaborative research with basic scientists, oncologists, and industry is well established and all members of our medical staff are encouraged to pursue clinical, translational, or fundamental research related to lymphoma in addition to their service work. The individual selected will be expected to participate in teaching of postgraduate and undergraduate medical trainees.
