Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist

Pan Pacific Pathologists, LLC. is seeking applications for a full-time pathologist to work on Oahu. Candidates should be board certified in AP/CP with strong surgical pathology and hematopathology skills including flow cytometry and bone marrow interpretation. Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-residency experience is preferred. Excellent leadership and communication skills are required due to frequent interaction with physicians, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff. Candidates with fellowship training are welcome and will receive special consideration.
Examples of duties include but are not limited to: perform frozen sections, sign out surgical / cytology (non-gyn) / peripheral smears/ flow cytometry and bone marrow, perform autopsies, work with clinical lab personnel to ensure high quality laboratory services using best practices in laboratory medicine, support laboratory and hospital quality improvement and accreditation initiatives, provide consultations to clinicians. Minimum requirements: MD or DO degree, board certification by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic and clinical pathology, and eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Hawaii.
