General Pathologist
GLASGOW, KENTUCKY (USA).
PathGroup/Associated Pathologists is looking for an AP/CP Board certified general pathologist to work at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. TJ Samson is a small, rural 200 bed hospital with two on-site pathologists. The opening is for a general pathologist who would sign out general surgical specimens and non-GYN cytology specimens, as well as perform on-site frozen sections and adequacy checks for EBUS procedures. They have their own histology department with four histotechs/support staff, as well as coverage of laboratory medical directorships at nearby rural hospitals.
Glasgow is located 1 1/2 hours from Nashville and 1 1/2 hours from Louisville. It is located 35 minutes from Bowling Green, Kentucky.

AP/CP Board Certified/Eligible Surgical Pathologist
GREATER CINCINNATI REGION (USA).
St. Elizabeth Healthcare (SEH) is seeking a full-time surgical pathologist to serve our expanding healthcare system, covering pathology services in Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. St. Elizabeth Healthcare is a Catholic healthcare ministry with six hospital facilities and 165 St. Elizabeth Physicians specialty and primary care offices throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.
- Qualified Candidates:
- AP/CP board certified or eligible
- Eligible for medical licenses in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and State of Indiana
- Preference will be given to candidates with fellowship training in one or more of the following areas: cytopathology, hematopathology, dermatopathology, GI, breast, or surgical pathology.
- Strong diagnostic skills in a wide variety of surgical specimens.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Expectations:
- Expected service coverage includes a combination of surgical pathology and frozen sections. Additional service requirements are dependent upon fellowship training and certification.

The SEH Department of Pathology currently employs nine pathologists and is seeking an additional pathologist to help provide services to four hospitals, including the newly acquired St. Elizabeth Dearborn Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN.
The anatomic pathology division at St. Elizabeth Healthcare processes approximately 30,000 surgical pathology cases, 14,000 gynecologic cytology and 3,000 non-gyn cytology cases annually. In addition, SEH employs three full-time ASCP certified pathologists’ assistants and four ASCP certified cytotechnologists.

Academic Breast Pathologist

The Department of Pathology at the University of Louisville is experiencing a robust phase of growth and expansion and is seeking a full time Surgical Pathologist with expertise in women’s health, particularly in breast pathology. The candidates should have a strong interest in promoting the academic mission including maintaining scholarly activities and participating in graduate and undergraduate medical education. Applicants should have a breast pathology fellowship or a strong and proven interest in breast pathology. The position requires some general surgical pathology signout; therefore, interest in other areas like gynecologic, thoracic, or dermatologic pathology is highly desirable but not required.
A track record of publications demonstrating clinical and scientific accomplishments is desirable. The selected candidate will be part of a leading multidisciplinary breast cancer team at the University of Louisville Hospital, Jewish Hospital and the Brown Cancer Center. The applicants should be board certified in anatomic or combined anatomic and clinical pathology and be qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
