Board Certified AP/CP Pathologist

A well-established, hospital based, private practice group of three pathologists and one pathologist assistant is seeking a board certified AP/CP pathologist for a full time, partnership track position starting in the second half of 2022. The ideal candidate would have fellowship training and/or work experience in general surgical pathology. Interest in or additional training in dermatopathology/GI pathology and blood bank would be a plus.
We are based in a state-of-the-art hospital and laboratory that opened in 2009: www.wmhs.com. The pathology lab processes approximately 17,000 surgical specimens per year as well as a mix of non-gyn cytology specimens and bone marrows. AP/CP Board Certified Pathologist
EASTERN SHORE / ANNAPOLIS AREA, MARYLAND (USA).
Community hospital-based pathology group is seeking an AP/CP board certified pathologist with subspecialty fellowship training and board eligibility for a full-time, partnership track position. The group consists of 25 pathologists with a broad depth of subspecialty expertise, providing services to eleven area hospitals with significant outreach involvement throughout the regional community. This well-respected group has been providing quality pathology services to the local Maryland /DC medical community for 52 years.
Both AP and CP proficiency is required and able to serve as a medical director of a clinical laboratory division. Strong surgical pathology skills with 3-5 years’ experience desired. The practice has a robust volume of gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and breast pathology and general cytology. Fellowship training in one of these areas is preferred but not required.
Superior communication skills, collegial work ethic, sound clinical judgment, thoroughness, and effective organizational skills are important qualities for this position. The hospital and departmental culture necessitate regular collaborative interactions with both the physician medical staff and laboratory staff. Molecular Pathologist (Associate Director of Clinical laboratory)

Our Molecular Characterization Laboratory (MoCha) at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research is responsible for providing high-level research in support of the NCI-Cancer Diagnostics Program (CDP) within the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD). Gynecologic and Breast Pathology Service

The Joint Pathology Center (JPC) is seeking applicants for its Gynecologic and Breast Pathology Service. The JPC is the successor organization to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) and provides secondary pathology consultation for DOD and VA hospitals as well as research and education. Responsibilities include rotational duties on the GYN/Breast clinical service, resident education, and medical student teaching at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). Faculty appointment at USUHS and engagement in research endeavors is highly encouraged. Clinical responsibilities are confined to secondary consultation in GYN/Breast. There are no primary pathology sign-out responsibilities, frozen sections, call or weekend duty. Our duty hours are flexible.
