Candidates will participate in developing and delivering the pre-clerkship curriculum and working with other members of the ENMED faculty to integrate medical training with instruction in engineering principles. Experience in development and/or oversight of a pre-clinical medical school curriculum, with preference for a flipped-classroom, active-learning approach, such as case and/or team-based learning, is preferred. In addition to instructional responsibilities, candidates will be expected to contribute to curricular development and development of innovative instructional methods and fostering collaboration among the three ENMED partners.

Open Rank, Term Tenure Track/Term Tenure Pathologist

The Department of Pathology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is recruiting a Pathologist of open rank with diagnostic expertise and research interest.
Board certification in Anatomic Pathology, special training in Dermatopathology, Neuropathology, Genitourinary pathology, or Cytopathology, and an active Texas medical license or eligibility are required. Candidates will be expected to participate in the routine sign out activities of a primarily oncologic array of specimens. For this term tenure track/term tenure position, the candidate’s primary research responsibility will be to conduct an innovative, independently funded research program in the respective subspecialty. Demonstrated ability to compete for extramural funding and a track record of successful independent research, including the supervision of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and other trainees is required.
