The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine and University of Vermont Health Network seeks a full-time pathologist to join a team providing anatomic and clinical pathology services, including medical directorships, serving regional hospitals in central and northern Vermont, northwestern New Hampshire, and northeastern New York. The team is based at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, VT.
Strong anatomic pathology and clinical laboratory management expertise is required. Previous experience in community practice is highly desirable. Applicants must be Board-eligible or Board-certified in AP/CP and eligible for medical licensure in Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York.
Berlin, Vermont, is located in the heart of the Green Mountains near Montpelier, Vermont’s capital, and approximately 45 minutes southeast of Burlington. Academic Surgical Pathologist

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of The Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont (UVM) is seeking an academic pathologist with expertise in surgical pathology for a full time faculty appointment at any professorial rank. The candidate must possess strong general surgical pathology skills with subspecialty training, experience, and/or special interest in Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary, or Head/Neck Pathology. The successful candidate will work in Anatomic Pathology in the Clinical Laboratory at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC). Board eligibility/certification in Anatomic Pathology is required, fellowship training is highly preferred, and prior diagnostic experience is desirable. Additional training or expertise in an additional subspecialty area of surgical pathology is desirable. The candidate should be committed to education of medical students, residents, and surgical pathology fellows. The candidate is expected to pursue scholarly activities and clinical research. Surgical Pathology at UVMMC serves northern Vermont, New York and New Hampshire and processes over 40,000 specimens annually.

The applicant must be board-certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, and board-eligible or certified in Hematopathology. Additional training is desirable. The candidate should be committed to teaching. Scholarly activities may include clinical, translational and/or health services research.
