Opportunity For AP/CP Fellowship Trained Pathologist
MADISON, WISCONSIN (USA).
Our growing, highly selective private group of 13 pathologists in Madison, Wisconsin has an open partnership track position for an AP/CP trained pathologist with one or more subspecialty fellowships in surgical pathology and/or clinical pathology. Clinical pathology subspecialty training and breast/gynecologic pathology subspecialty training will be given special consideration. Outstanding communication skills, customer-service focus, excellence in general surgical pathology and administrative leadership ability is required. Candidates who have demonstrated leadership skills are encouraged to apply. Board eligibility or certification in both anatomic and clinical pathology is required.
Our practice provides anatomic pathology and clinical pathology services to 13 hospitals, outpatient surgery centers and multispecialty clinics in southern Wisconsin. We have subspecialists in hematopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology and cytopathology. Our surgical pathology volume approximates 48,000 cases/year. Pathologists' assistants perform all gross examinations. We do not perform autopsies. There are over 400 bone marrow specimens each year and an active flow cytometry service. The group is independent but has clinical affiliation with the University of Wisconsin Department of Pathology. UW Pathology residents rotate with the group in hematopathology and dermatopathology throughout the year.

Neuropathologist Physician Scientist
MADISON, WISCONSIN (USA).
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting for an academic neuropathologist on the tenure track. The candidate will be appointed in the department with 5/8ths funding available from the William S. Middleton Veterans Administration Hospital (VA). Candidates must be board certified in anatomic pathology or AP/CP as well as board eligible in neuropathology and qualified for unrestricted licensure for the practice of medicine in Wisconsin.
The University of Wisconsin Medical Center is a tertiary care center with state of the art neuro-imaging, neurology and neurological surgery programs. The successful applicant will be expected to continue or develop a research program commensurate with a tenure track appointment in the area of neurodegenerative diseases, preferably in the area of neurobiology of Alzheimer's disease, and to mentor graduate students. The successful applicant will possess neuropathology clinical expertise in surgical pathology as well as autopsy pathology, contribute actively to the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students, mentor trainees, participate in continuing medical education programs and engage in scholarly research. Graduate student training opportunities are available in the department Cellular & Molecular Pathology program and the neuroscience training program. Due to the VA appointment, the successful candidate will be eligible for VA merit review grant funding. Pediatric and Perinatal Pathologist

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting for an academic pediatric pathologist with subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric pathology. Candidates must possess an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree, be board certified or eligible in anatomic pathology or AP/CP, and be qualified for unrestricted licensure for the practice of medicine in Wisconsin.
The successful candidate will be appointed at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level (non-tenure, clinical health sciences track) and will have responsibilities in surgical and autopsy pathology. She/he will perform pediatric autopsies including postmortem examination of perinatal cases. Surgical pathology activities will focus on pediatric and perinatal cases, especially placentas and tumors of childhood.
The appointee will work closely with clinical and research groups at the American Family Children's Hospital and the UW Carbone Cancer Center. Ample opportunities exist for collaborative clinical, translational and basic research projects. The laboratory processes approximately 50,000 surgical pathology cases per year, 3500 of which are from pediatric patients. Approximately 35 pediatric/perinatal autopsies are performed annually. Midwest Surgical Pathology Opportunity
WESTON, WISCONSIN (USA).
The Division of Laboratory Medicine of the Marshfield Clinic Health System is seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented full-time AP/CP board certified or board eligible pathologist with a surgical pathology fellowship training to join our practice at Marshfield Medical Center – Weston in Weston, Wisconsin. This individual should have experience or interest in a particular specialty area in AP or CP. Participation in the general surgical pathology services including frozen section coverage, FNA Adequacy assessments and autopsies is expected along with Medical directorships for system labs.
You will be joining a laboratory team that includes 18 pathologists located in four communities in central and northern Wisconsin. Our pathology specialists have expertise in cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, hematopathology, infectious disease pathology, molecular pathology, nephropathology, neuropathology/neuromuscular pathology, pulmonary pathology and transfusion medicine, and are supported by 5 PhD clinical laboratory scientists.
The Pathology Department accessions approximately 43,000 surgical cases each year and maintains on-site ancillary diagnostic services including a broad immunohistochemical menu, transmission electron microscopy, cytogenetics and a molecular pathology laboratory. Academic affiliations with regional universities and research opportunities in collaboration with the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute are encouraged.
