Medical Director, Clinical Labs/Subspecialty Pathologist

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is recruiting for a Clinician Teacher career track academic pathologist. The primary responsibilities are serving as CLIA laboratory medical director for a medium size community hospital and providing subspecialty anatomic pathology case sign out as appropriate to skills.
Candidates must have a MD, MD/PhD or DO, be board certified in AP/CP and be qualified for unrestricted licensure for the practice of medicine in Wisconsin. Subspecialty fellowship training in an anatomic pathology specialty is required. Training or experience in laboratory directorship, including transfusion medicine, is preferred.
The Medical Director, Clinical Laboratories will provide effective leadership to the laboratory of a nearby 450-bed community hospital in Madison with close links to UW Health. The Medical Director will be responsible for compliance with all applicable rules and regulations governing the clinical laboratory that has an annual volume of approximately 1 million tests per year. This position may also provide directorship service to regional outreach sites.

BC/BE Dermatopathologist

Pathologist Opportunity at Integrated Health System

This is a private practice, partnership track dermatopathology only position based in a safe community hospital setting with no travel or on call requirements, working alongside two other dermatopathologists.
