The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is seeking a successful candidate, MD or MD/Ph.D. degree, with at least three years of experience in Clinical Chemistry to join the Department of Pathology as its Academic Clinical Pathologist, Chemistry Medical Director position. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Senior Member in the Hematopathology and Laboratory Medicine section of the Department of Pathology. Candidates must have current boards and/or Maintenance of Certification in AP/CP or CP. Expertise in another clinical pathology subspecialty, especially Microbiology or Hematology, is highly desirable. Board certification/eligibility in Clinical Chemistry is preferred, but not required. As a faculty member of the Clinical Pathology service, you will be involved in daily operations and test development, oversee technical personnel and direct related education for faculty, trainees and staff. Additional clinical duties in other clinical pathology areas may be required.
Experience in an academic multi-disciplinary university clinical setting is preferred. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida is required.

Faculty Position: Breast Pathologist
TAMPA, FLORIDA (USA).
The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Breast Pathologist to join the Department of Pathology. This is a full-time position and rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Candidates must have completed a fellowship in Breast Pathology and have at least two years of experience in Breast Pathology (post Fellowship). The ideal candidate must have a focus on diagnostic excellence performing at a standard commensurate with a major academic center. Candidates will primarily participate in breast subspecialty sign out, interact with physicians, medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in Pathology Tumor Boards. Faculty Position: Hematopathologist, Clinical Laboratory Director
TAMPA, FLORIDA (USA).
The Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute is seeking a successful candidate, M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree, for its Academic Hematopathologist position. The appointment will be at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Senior Member in the Hematopathology and Laboratory Medicine section of the Department of Pathology.
We are closely affiliated with large and expanding programs in Hematologic Malignancies and Stem Cell Transplant, with strong emphasis on myelodysplasia, acute leukemia and lymphoma. Our growing CAR-T cell program offers excellent opportunities to combine interests in diagnostic pathology and immunotherapy. The candidate will be a member of a multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists, with opportunities to join established basic research programs, as well as excellent opportunities for translational research in areas of related interest. We train both Pathology residents and Hematopathology fellows.
The successful applicants should be board certified in Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology, or have board certification eligibility. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology is also preferred. Three years experience in the field is required, along with documented experience in clinical laboratory administration and/or oversight, along with expertise in CAP/CLIA requirements for laboratory oversight. The Cancer Center operates laboratories at multiple locations in the region, and the candidate will join a team of medical directors responsible for daily operations and test development, oversight of technical personnel, and education for faculty and staff. Additional clinical duties in interpretation of bone marrows, lymph nodes and/or flow cytometry are expected.
