The Department of Pathology at the University of South Alabama (USA) in Mobile is currently recruiting for a Director of the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The Division of Anatomic Pathology handles about 17,000 surgical and 4,500 cytology cases a year and it is expanding rapidly. The Division of Anatomic Pathology serves USA Health University Hospital, USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital, and the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. The two hospitals are licensed for 550 beds combined. Molecular/next generation sequencing, cytogenetics, immunohistochemistry, FISH, and electron microscopy laboratories are part of the sophisticated menu of tests available. The Department has a combined residency training program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with 12 residents and new fellowship programs. Academic Surgical Pathologist

The UC Davis Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Davis, is seeking academic physician- educators, and -investigators to grow clinical, teaching and creative programs in surgical pathology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Clinical (X) or the Health Sciences Clinical Series. Clinical duties will chiefly involve surgical pathology. At least one year of experience teaching undergraduates, graduate students, medical students, or housestaff is required. Participation in the research mission of the institution is expected, either as a collaborator or as the intellectual leader of clinically-oriented research projects pertinent to the candidate’s areas of expertise.
Candidates must have an MD or MD/PhD, and be board-eligible or certified in anatomic pathology. The candidate must have two to five years’ experience in a clinical or academic setting that would meet requirements for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in one of the University of California’s clinically-intensive academic series [Clinical (X) or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series]. Must have completed a sub-specialty fellowship by July 1, 2021. Gastrointestinal/liver, head and neck and gynecologic pathology, and neuropathology are desirable. Other desirable qualifications include training and expertise in informatics, molecular-anatomic, and/or quality improvement.
A California professional license or eligibility for licensure in California is required.

Gynecologic Pathology Faculty Opportunity at Washington University

The Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine is seeking fellowship trained gynecologic pathologist to join the gynecologic pathology section. Additional training in breast pathology and molecular pathology is desirable. The gynecologic section is an established, fully sub-specialized pathology service. The Department currently receives approximately 70,000 non-cytology surgical pathology specimens per year. The gynecologic service receives ~4,500 specimens annually.

The Department of Pathology at The MetroHealth System, a teaching affiliate of Case Western University School of Medicine and a Level - 1 trauma center in Northeastern Ohio, is recruiting a full-time anatomic pathologist with gynecologic and perinatal pathology expertise. Additional expertise in genitourinary pathology and cytology is highly desirable.

Expectations:
- Participate in general surgical pathology (and cytology, if qualified) and serve as a departmental expert for gynecologic and perinatal pathology consultation.

Pathologists at Texas Children's Hospital have primary full-time academic appointments in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine, and are expected to contribute to educational and scholarly activities in the Department of Pathology based at TCH; BCM teaching opportunities are also available.

Oncologic Anatomic Pathologist at BC Cancer

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a full-time anatomic pathologist with expertise in diagnostic oncologic pathology and related translational research. Priority will be given to applicants with specific post-certification fellowship training (1 year minimum) and/or experience at a major academic cancer centre. Expertise and specialty interest in the areas of breast, gynecologic and head & neck pathology is preferred. Protected time will be allocated based on academic productivity, to facilitate clinical, translational or fundamental research pursuit related to cancer.
