The Hematopathology Division is comprised of 6 hematopathologists involved in a spectrum of morphologic, flow cytometric, immunohistochemical, FISH, molecular diagnostic activities, clinical pathology labs and funded research. The hematopathology service handles more than 4,000 solid and liquid hematologic cases, including consult service for second opinion consultation and support for our partners at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Rutgers CINJ is the only NCI designated comprehensive cancer center in NJ. The CINJ Division of Blood Disorders provides care for the full spectrum of adult and pediatric hematologic diseases including a busy leukemia/lymphoma service, autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants and CAR-T therapy.
The RWJUH Molecular Pathology Laboratory provides PCR and Next Generation Sequencing testing with leadership by Board certified molecular pathologists and an exceptional Bioinformatics team. An additional molecular hematopathologist is needed to support the hematologic malignancy testing and develop expanded molecular testing.
Translational research laboratories as well as clinical and basic research collaborations are available with Rutgers CINJ faculty and throughout Rutgers University.

The group is a stable physician-owned practice with a long history in the community and is comprised of nine pathologists with multispecialty training including cytopathology, dermatopathology, breast/gynecologic and hematopathology. The group provides pathology services to two local hospitals as well as medical directorship for several local/regional hospital laboratories.
The successful candidate will be AP/CP and hematopathology boarded or eligible. Current trainees are strongly encouraged to apply. Hematopathology duties include interpretation of bone marrow biopsies, lymph nodes, flow cytometry (performed in house) and liquid hematology cases. Performance of bone marrow biopsies is required and the candidate should have some experience with the procedure. Lymphoma Pathologist at BC Cancer (locum position – part-time)

BC Cancer provides a comprehensive cancer control program under the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) for the people of British Columbia. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a lymphoma pathologist with expertise in diagnostic lymphoma pathology and related translational/basic research. This is a locum position for a two-year duration at 0.3 full-time equivalent (FTE) level. Priority will be given to applicants with specific post-certification lymphoma pathology fellowship training and experience at a major academic cancer centre in the area of lymphoma pathology. The applicant should have a demonstrable recent track record in research involving lymphoid cancers with a desire to collaborate with other researchers in the Centre for Lymphoid Cancer. Collaborative research with basic scientists, oncologists, and industry is well established and all members of our medical staff are encouraged to pursue clinical, translational, or fundamental research related to lymphoma in addition to their service work. Shared Health is seeking applications for a permanent full-time Hematopathologist.
The successful candidate will join a hematopathology practice group that provides comprehensive diagnostic services on hematology, transfusion medicine and immunology to the Province of Manitoba.
Primary duties will include comprehensive hematopathology in support of various local tertiary care programs, and a provincial referral program. All job duties are required in English. Expertise in transfusion medicine or lymphoma is an asset (preferred).

The successful candidate will join a group of 16 pathologists, medical microbiologists and clinical chemists providing hospital laboratory services. Our laboratory currently processes approximately 40,000 surgical pathology specimens per year. On-call coverage is required and shared equitably within the group. The Health Science Centre is a teaching hospital affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University.
Through strong formal affiliations with Memorial University, and on the recommendation of the Discipline Chair, the successful candidates may be eligible for a clinical faculty appointment in the Academic Department of Laboratory Medicine and may be expected to participate in collaborative research activities and scholarship (ie: teaching).

The Division of Hematopathology in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Nova Scotia Health/Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre (QEII HSC) in Halifax, is seeking an academic hematopathologist. QEII HSC is a large, tertiary care teaching hospital affiliated with Dalhousie University and is the major adult referral centre for the Maritime Provinces. The successful applicant will join an active team of nine hematopathologists and three clinical scientists that serves a wide variety of patient programs including hematology, oncology, bleeding disorders, bone marrow and organ transplantation and blood transfusion. The Division has active Royal College residency training program in Hematopathology. It is a busy clinical service, providing state-of-the-art diagnostic methods and research opportunities in morphology, molecular pathology, bone marrow transplantation, coagulation disorders, transfusion medicine, flow cytometry and HLA typing. This position requires a commitment to clinical service, teaching and research. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in all aspects of clinical hematopathology service. Protected time for research may be arranged for a suitably qualified candidate.
