Pathology Group of Louisiana (PGL) is a pathology group located in Baton Rouge, LA. PGL is a private practice group with well respected, board-certified, experienced anatomic and clinical pathologists that provides a full spectrum of services for hospitals, surgery centers and clinical laboratories in Baton Rouge and throughout Southeast Louisiana. We provide services to one of the largest health systems in Louisiana (includes a 988-bed hospital and a free-standing Children’s Hospital). PGL has employment opportunities for AP/CP board certified or board eligible pathologists. Both partnership track and non-partnership positions are available. Subspecialty training and/or board certification in Dermatopathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Cytopathology, Surgical Pathology Fellowship, Gynecologic Pathology or Gynecologic-Oncology Pathology (subspecialty training and/or fellowship) is desired but not required.
The position will present the opportunity to work in a collegial environment with exposure to diverse inpatient and outpatient clinical material. Academic Cytopathologist

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State University College of Medicine is seeking an academic cytopathologist, non-tenure track, clinician-educator or clinician-scientist, open rank. We are a growing subspecialty practice with annual cytopathology volume of 10,000 cases, including 3,500 fine needle aspirations and 1,500 immediate interpretations, as well as a surgical pathology volume of approximately 45,000 cases, all at the quaternary care academic hub: the Hershey Medical Center, Cancer Institute, and Children’s Hospital. Our anatomic pathology group is fully subspecialized, with most faculty practicing in multiple subspecialty areas. Candidates with interest or experience in surgical pathology subspecialties are thus of particular interest. The successful candidate will practice at Hershey Medical Center.
The successful candidate will join a strong, collegial department of 40 faculty in Anatomic, Clinical and Experimental Pathology, with a new Division of Molecular Pathology and Cytogenetics forthcoming. The department is in an exciting growth phase under a new Chair. The department has a fully accredited residency program of 16 positions, with 4 ACGME-accredited fellowships. Faculty participate actively, with several leadership roles, in undergraduate and graduate medical education and graduate school teaching.
The COM enrolls 150 students per class and boasts an innovative curriculum. New educational space is in the planning phase. Clinical, translational and basic research is thriving. Support for collaborative and independent research, including intramural funding, professional development programs, and faculty mentoring is provided. Florida Woman Care, the largest OB/GYN group practice in the state of Florida, has a state of the art CAP-accredited lab in the Tampa area with specialists in GYN Pathology to produce the highest quality diagnoses of laboratory specimens.

The Florida Woman Care Laboratory performs Histology, Cytology, Molecular Microbiology and Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT). We are seeking 1 part-time or full time Pathologist to join a team of 6 due to growth. This pathologist should have sub-specialty expertise in GYN Pathology and/or Cytopathology. Specimen types will be office-based biopsies, LEEPs and Pap Smears. There are no frozen sections or call responsibilities.

Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist
MAUI, HAWAII (USA).
Pan Pacific Pathologists, LLC. is seeking applications for a full-time staff pathologist to work at our partner hospital on the island of Maui. Candidates should be board certified in AP/CP with strong surgical pathology/cytopathology skills and clinical lab experience or experience as a Medical Director of a lab section. Pathology Practice Opportunity
SUDBURY, ONTARIO (CANADA).
Health Sciences North (HSN) is recruiting a full-time general (AP/CP) or AP Pathologist. As the tertiary referral centre for Northeastern Ontario, HSN serves > 600,000 residents, has 500 beds and hosts the North Eastern Ontario Cancer Centre.
Our department currently includes 11 pathologists providing comprehensive pathology services to HSN and other hospitals in the region. Services include surgical pathology, cytology, neuropathology, hematopathology, flow cytometry, transfusion medicine, forensics, genomics, microbiology and chemistry. Our team also includes a Biochemist and Microbiologist.
Duties include general surgical pathology, cytology, and frozen sections, with opportunities to contribute in other areas such as autopsy, genomics and laboratory management.
Surgical Pathology Fellowship or equivalent experience is preferred, with additional subspecialty fellowships considered an asset. Expertise in Neuropathology, Head and Neck, Cytology, Genomics, or Transfusion Medicine are particularly desirable but other subspecialty training will be considered. Start date is flexible.
In addition to service work, pathologists at HSN are encouraged to participate in research at the HSN Research Institute and are required to seek faculty appointments at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. Most clinical and academic work is completed at the HSN main site, 41 Ramsey Lake Road. Compensation is fee-for-service originating from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and Ontario Health Insurance Plan. This is a partnership track position with a straightforward path to shareholder status within first two years of practice.

The primary responsibilities include participation with our current dermatopathologist in the sign out and coverage of Dermatopathology at hospitals and clinics across the growing Marshfield Clinic Health System in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The Dermatopathology service currently consists of approximately 16,000 cases per year from dermatology departments (which includes a dermatology residency program) as well as various MCHS primary care providers, surgeons, and surgical oncologists. The Ochsner health system currently processes approximately 75,000 surgical cases and 50,000 cytology cases annually. There is a vast spectrum of cases, with a wide range of complexity. The department supports a solid organ transplantation program and comprehensive oncology services, including a state-of-the-art breast cancer center and a bone marrow transplant program. Anatomical Pathologist / General Pathologist

Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) is seeking a full time Anatomical Pathologist / General Pathologist for Chinook Regional Hospital. Chinook Regional Hospital is a regional institution located in Lethbridge and is the referral centre for 9 smaller rural hospitals. The catchment area has a population of 180,000 and serves the geographic area of southwestern Alberta. Chinook Regional Hospital is a 310-bed acute care facility, provides a comprehensive service for most specialties, and has an onsite cancer centre. The successful candidate will join a team of 8 laboratory physicians and is required to have excellent skills in surgical pathology and cytopathology. Additional expertise in hematopathology will be considered favorably.
The Chinook Regional Hospital laboratory has sections of anatomical pathology including cytology, hematology and transfusion medicine, biochemistry and microbiology and most testing is performed onsite in Lethbridge. Comprehensive onsite immunohistochemistry is available. 21,000 surgical specimens, 2,600 non-gynecologic cytology specimens and 190 bone marrow biopsy specimens are processed annually.
Qualifications
Qualifications include a MD, eligibility for licensure in the Province of Alberta, and certification in Anatomic or General Pathology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
Compensation
An excellent remuneration package including relocation assistance is provided. The pathologist will function as a contractor with APL. A seven physician pathology group covering three hospitals and a large reference lab in Santa Barbara, California is seeking a Surgical Pathologist. Candidates interested in part-time or full-time employment are invited to apply. Primary site of service is located at a JCAHO approved, 450-bed acute care hospital. All pathologists are on-site and subspecialty-trained covering a broad range of outpatient and inpatient surgical specimens comprised predominantly of GI, Breast, GYN, GU, and Lung. Derm, Head/Neck, Neuro, and Soft Tissue cases round out the workload. We review outpatient and inpatient GYN and Non-GYN cytology specimens including EBUS and EUS. The successful candidate will be open to a flexible schedule comprised of Surgical Pathology/Cytology, Companion Diagnostic projects, and some Clinical Laboratory service including Blood Bank call coverage. A track record of active engagement with the medical staff will lead to success. Board Certification in AP/CP is required. AP/CP Board Certified/Eligible Pathologist
BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL, ILLINOIS (USA).
Well established private pathology practice is seeking a full-time AP/CP board certified/eligible pathologist to join our group of 3 pathologists (fellowship trained in hematopathology, cytopathology and general surgical pathology). Fellowship in cytopathology preferred, but not mandatory. Typical daily case load includes GI, GU, gyn, breast FNAs and non-gyn cytology. We do not interpret Pap smears and do not perform adult autopsies. This community hospital-based practice sees approximately 10,000 cases per year with less than 5 frozen sections performed per week, on average. After hours frozen sections and phone calls are exceedingly rare. The pathologists have a close working relationship with clinicians, administration, and the laboratory staff. The pathologists sit on numerous hospital committees and are an integral part of the medical staff. As such, excellent interpersonal skills are required. This position allows you to use your full range of knowledge in both anatomic pathology as well as clinical pathology.
This practice is located in the college town of Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. Phoenix Children’s Hospital is seeking a Hematopathologist to join the professional staff of the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The Hematopathologist must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematopathology. The hematopathologist will join a growing diagnostic service with two other staff hematopathologists. The case mix currently includes approximately 750 peripheral blood smears, 550 bone marrow studies, 100 lymph node evaluations, 400 flow cytometric immunophenotyping studies, and 1450 cytology specimens annually.
The candidate must have special interest in both neoplastic and non-neoplastic hematologic disorders of infants, children, and adolescents. Additional expertise in cytopathology, primary immune deficiency evaluation, and/or minimal residual disease testing is desirable. Dermatopathologist

Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre is a major academic health facility affiliated with the University of Toronto, training 1,300 residents and fellows per year. We invite applications for an Academic Pathologist with strong diagnostic expertise in Dermatopathology. Fellowship training is preferred. Expertise in a second area such as gastrointestinal, cytology or head & neck pathology would be welcomed. Applicant must possess a medical degree and hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Anatomical Pathology, or equivalent, and be eligible for an independent license by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Sunnybrook’s Division of Anatomic Pathology in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Molecular Diagnostics, Precision Diagnostics and Therapeutics Program handles over 30,000 surgical pathology cases and 15,000 cytopathology cases annually. The dermatopathology work is varied and consists of oncologic and inflammatory skin lesions. The successful applicant will thrive in a collegial inter-professional team setting with participation in multi-disciplinary tumour boards and collaborative work in basic and translational research including molecular and biomarker studies. In addition to clinical sign-out duties, participation in frozen section, autopsy, and on-call coverage, educational and administrative duties if required. Salary and benefits will be per the Uniform Minimum Level of Compensation for Ontario pathologists (currently $367,490/year).
The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, with rank commensurate with qualifications.

Clinical Laboratory of the Black Hills (CLBH) is searching for an AP/CP board certified/eligible pathologist to join our practice. Duties include general surgical sign out for busy full service pathology department of three pathologists and a PA. Case load is weighted towards GI, Gyn, Breast pathology.
