Gross description
  • Testis is enlarged, tanish yellowy brown
  • Associated with abscesses and thrombosed blood vessels
Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Tubular atrophy, sheets of histiocytes with Michaelis-Gutmann bodies (intracellular and extracellular round structures containing iron and calcium)
