Gross description
  • Firm to soft, tan, golden brown or grey white
  • May be large and replace most of testicular parenchyma
  • May be extensively hemorrhagic

Mutinodular fleshy tumor

Microscopic (histologic) description
  • Central effacement of tubules by atypical plasma cells (bi or multinucleated)
  • Tubules often spared at periphery
  • Anaplastic cells may obliterate parenchyma or invade between seminiferous or epididymal tubules
  • Tumor cells can look like typical plasma cells or be deceptive with vesicular nuclei and large central nucleoli
