Diagnosis: Fite-Faraco stain to demonstrate Mycobacterium leprae in skin section. Lepromatous leprosy with diffuse histiocytic infiltrate in the dermis. "Grenz zone" of sparing is seen in superficial papillary dermis. Globi (clusters) of leprosy bacilli within histiocytes are seen in this case of Histoid Leprosy.

Pathologists all around the world have been doing a wonderful job. Though our work was under-recognised earlier, somehow COVID-19 brought us to the forefront and the common man now understands what Pathology is worth.
