News (see also Website News page): |
| 5 June 2009: Congratulations to Dr. Roopa Paulose, Hatton Health, United Kingdom. She received a check for $50 for completing our survey and winning our drawing. Thanks to all who completed the survey, which helps us improve our website. |
| |
4 June 2009: We added a category to the Pathology Jobs page - Buy/Sell pathology practices/labs. Our first advertiser wants to buy practices or laboratories in any of five states.
We are changing the format of our textbook so each topic has a separate page. The advantages are (a) easier to read, (b) ability to include thumbnails of images, (c) better targeting of search engines to the correct topic, (d) pages will load faster with less scrolling. To view a sample page, click here, and let us know what you think. |
| |
| 1 June 2009: We have reformatted the chapters on the Home Page to reduce the amount of scrolling necessary. We are also planning other steps to make our website easier to use, based on your suggestions, so let us know what you think! |
| |
| 29 May 2009: We have split the Soft Tissue chapter into 3, and updated Part 1, which discusses Introduction, Infections & Fibroblastic / myofibroblastic tumors (click here). New features to be incorporated into all chapters as they are updated, include an additional table of contents sorted alphabetically, new formatting and more discussion of differential diagnoses. |

| Thanks to Angel Fernandez-Flores, MD, PhD, Hospital El Bierzo and Clinica Ponferrada, Spain, for contributing images of botryomycosis to the Skin-nontumor chapter and acquired digital fibrokeratoma to the Skin-nonmelanocytic tumor chapter. |
