Website News (see also Website News page):
11 June 2008: By request, we have changed the Home Page banner links to open a new window. We have also changed the directories for the Jobs, Conference and Fellowship pages, so please rebookmark these pages if necessary. The old links will still work. We have started linking to some very nice images from Wiley publications, including cytology images. Unfortunately, after clicking on the image link, to see these images (which have a URL beginning Wiley) you may also have to refresh the screen.

29 May 2008: (a) We completed an extensive update of Soft Tissue Tumors-Part 1, now with 104 topics, including an introductory section about approaches to diagnosis, syndromes, grading and molecular patterns. We describe all WHO tumors and numerous non-WHO entities classified as fibroblastic / myofibroblastic, fibrohistiocytic and lipomatous, with over 1000 image links from the AFIP fascicle 3rd series, free full text journals and other sources, as well as 700+ references and 49 virtual slides. (b) Thanks to participants in our survey, and congratulations to Cheryl Rimmer, New Jersey (USA) and Serdar Balci, Ankara, Turkey, for each winning $75 for our survey related drawing. Our next contest/drawing will be this fall. (c) We added Seeking Employment and Seeking a Residency ads to our popular Jobs page. These ads run for 6 months and cost $500, which must be prepaid. (d) Thanks to contributors of images recently posted: bladder schistosomiasis (bladder and parasitology chapters) - Drs. Kiran Alam, Anshu Jain, Veena Maheshwari, Farhan A. Siddiqui and Ershadul Haq, J.N. Medical College, India; micropapillary HG PIN of prostate - Dr. John Irlam, University of Toledo, Ohio, inflammatory cloacogenic polyp (Anus) - Dr. Yvonne Bury, University Hospital of North Durham, UK, lipomatous hemangiopericytoma (Soft Tissue Part 1) - Dr. David Cohen, Israel.
